Manage your Directionally Local server
The server home screen, connecting laptops, tasks, logs, health checks, repair and uninstall.
Run these on the server.
Home screen
dl
Shows the server's health, the laptops connected to it and the tasks that are running.
Commands

Lists connected laptops. |

Installs, or repairs an existing install. |
dl uninstall |
Removes Directionally Local from the server. |
dl uninstall --purge |
Removes it along with all of its data. |
Security
- The OpenRouter key stays on the server, inside Hotcell. Laptops and sandboxes never see it.
- Each laptop holds only its own credential, valid for 90 days and revocable.
- Each task runs in its own sandbox.
- Node.js security fixes install automatically.
Updating
There's no dl upgrade command yet. Running dl up again repairs an install.
